Do you still need to apply for Housing to accept your
Living Learning Community Invitation?
Students are required to have a valid housing contract in order to accept their Living Learning Community invitation. Please follow the steps below to ensure you are able to accept your invitation as soon as possible!
Step 1: Complete the application at the My Housing Portal for 2021-2022 Academic Year and/or 2021 Late Short Summer
Step 2: Pay the $600 housing pre-payment
- This $600 pre-payment, along with your completed application and signed contract, puts you in line for a Room Selection Number. This payment can only be refunded if we are unable to assign you any accommodation. If we are unable to place you in your preferred housing, you have the option to cancel your contract, but that $600 is not refundable.
- This payment secures your place in line. It is not a security deposit that is returned when you move out, but more a down payment. $80 of the deposit goes towards your Housing application fee, the other $520 will be applied to your first semester’s rent. Paying the $600 prepayment AND completing the housing application process are both required to be considered for a space on campus.
- If you apply for both summer and academic year housing, you only need to pay the pre-payment one time.
Step 3: Return to the My Housing Portal to complete your Housing Contract.
You must complete the contract AND make a pre-payment to secure housing.
Room selection numbers are assigned in the order contracts are completed (application+pre-payment). The earlier you apply, the more options you’ll have. Historically speaking, we are able to house all students who apply.
Fall Move-In: August 14 and 15, 2021

iGniTe Summer Move-In: June 21, 2021
Information regarding sign-up for Summer Move-In times will be emailed to students by May 15.
